I set off to Wroclaw in Poland around 10.30 am, the idea was to test the bike on city, country and highway roads to give an honest review across all aspects of riding.
The weather was good so we could be in for a winner.
From my home is mainly highway until i get to Prague then there is a little city driving and after this the mountains into Poland.
Highway is awesome, she is smooth, responsive and has a very good riding position. I am 5'6" ( 1.68m ) so not the tallest of dwarfs but I found it completely well organized for my small stature. The cruise control is amazing and very easy to use also. ( more on how to set this on my youtube channel ). Heated grips and seat are good for those colder rides, the grips are not over hot but the seat on #1 is ample to warm your ass for sure.
In the city she is good at low down speeds, however I did find that sometimes a lower gear is better to save some vibration if you find yourself in too high a gear.
In the mountains he glides around corners and country style twisties giving a lot of feedback and the sense of stability.
The Brembo brakes are awesome and of course as you would expect more than enough to stop you in case of emergency.
However I found that the engine breaking is amazing and could be used instead of actually using the brakes.
Overall for the cost of this machine, it is a lot of bike for very little money for sure, especially when you look at other brands that would cost a lot more for this spec of machine.
Blind spot indicators, unheard of on a motorcycle, a little bit of over indication in the city environment but awesome on the highway and alerting you of traffic coming from around 30 mtrs away, well in advance for any safety. Really good addition in my opinion.
Overall, I am really glad I have bought one and I am sure that this will be a very reliable bike for my European Motorcycle Diaries adventures.
