Collecting my new QJ Motor SRT900S

What an exciting day was to come, I wouldn't have thought it would take me from 09.30 AM until 20.45 in the evening.

This is how it went.

I arrived to collect the bike at my dealer WESTMOTO.CZ around 35 minutes from my home.

Petr the mechanic to the SRT 900S out of the showroom to get it to garage for me to fit some extras on to her before collection.

Items was fitted and proceeded to give her a temporary number plate, I arranged insurance with my friend and we was ready to go.

In between riding away the owner Jiri ( cool guy ) and myself was going to go and apply for her new registration number.

As always the time passed and we didn't get time to do this so riding away and doing this another day seemed normal procedure.

I made arrangements to go and visit my friend Robert who owns a sweet Ducati V4 street-fighter. around 2 hrs away from Westmoto garage.

He lives in Prague and could be a nightmare to get through at the time of day that I started.

I was right, nightmare, at least I have a traffic beater so in between the cars was the solution.

We had coffee and chatted a little before I started home, black visor, at night. OOPs.

I arrived home cold, if it wasnt for a heated seat and heated grips I would have been freezing, not helping was that I needed to ride with my visor up for 120 kms or I couldn't see a thing. She went from 0.1 km - 250 kms this day )).

How the bike was, new experience.

She is very comfortable, will take a little getting used to the ride by wire throttle and the quickshifter but I am sure I will overcome this soon.

It is like a Bentley after my old TDM 850 which is now for sale.

I hope to get a lot of trips with this new machine and will be adding to this BLOG often I hope.
